Vietnam: The Reconciliation

Edward Nef
Tackling the development of positive post-war relations between the U.S. and Vietnam, this documentary depicts the growing economic, commercial and cultural relations between the two countries. VIETNAM: THE RECONCILIATION covers American veterans returning to Vietnam (three decades after the war) for emotional meetings with their Vietnamese counterparts; a massive veterans' motorcycle parade on Veterans' Day in Washington, D.C.; the efforts on both sides to help the victims of Agent Orange and recover the remains of MIA soldiers. Advocating forgiveness, tolerance, peace, friendship and prosperity, the film is an inspiring reconciliation between two peoples and two nations.
